The Municipality will always support any initiative of social significance
In Davtashen district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the opening of a charity canteen. As a result of the joint efforts of the Municipality, particularly the staff of Davtashen district and “Mission Armenia” benevolent NGO the canteen has been opened to serve 55 beneficiaries. Within the frames of the program of reconstruction of the water pipes and wells, as a result of the work lasted a few months the water collecting station “Tsaravaghbyur” has been modernized and reconstructed. The honour of its solemn opening was given to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. The water collecting station was built in 1963. In 2014 5 chess schools are to be put into operation in the capital
Within the frames of working visit to Malatia Sebastia district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the chess school which is being constructed and watched the process on spot. During his working visit to Malatia Sebastia Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the residents took part in the solemn opening of regular improved yards. As an obligatory condition of yard improvement special attention was paid at landscaping and creation of green zones, so the areas were provided with proper irrigation systems.
