It is the fourth year that the solemn ceremony of taking an oath by young land defenders Yerkrapah has taken place on the birthday of Sparapet Vazgen Sargsyan, on March 5. Galust Sahakyan Visits Yerablur Pantheon
On March 5, on the birthday of the RA state-political figure, national hero of Armenia, hero of Artsakh Vazgen Sargsyan, the President of the RA National Assembly Galust Sahakyan visited Yerablur Pantheon. The NA President laid a wreath at sparapet’s (commander's) tomb, bowed and honoured his memory with a minute of silence. Galust Sahakyan Receives the US Newly Appointed Ambassador
On March 4 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan received Richard Mills, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Armenia. Government to Refund Tuition for 646 Students from State Universities
Attended by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the results of the Armenia Youth Foundation Scholarship competition were summarized at the Conference Hall of the Yerevan State Medical University after M. Heratsi. Note that 646 students from State-run universities have been entitled to tuition refund this year. Some of the students got their scholarship certificates from the Prime Minister himself. Parliament Convenes an Extraordinary Sitting
By the decision of the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan and at the initiative of the Government on March 3, under Article 70 of the RA Constitution, an NA extraordinary sitting was convened.
