On 27-30 April in Dubrovnik the 11th YEPP Congress on the theme “Reuniting Europe” was held. Lilit Belglaryan, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of RPA YO, represented Armenia.
Within the framework of the Congress discussions were held concerning the European Public Diplomacy in the context of developing relations and deepening co-operation. Participants held a meeting with the Prime-Minister of Croatia Andrey Plenkovich. On the concluding day the new board of YEPP was elected. The new President of YEPP was elected Andrianos Giannou from Romania, and the new Secretary General – Maria Pardal from Spain.
At the course of the Congress YEPP political program was represented, 9 resolutions were adopted on protection of vital economic interests, confirmation of European educational priorities, cybersecurity, issues of job market, regulation of economic competition, as well as raise of awareness on struggle against terrorism.
