During the working meeting conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan in the City Hall the head of the Municipality Department of General Education reported that the control over providing safe operation of heating systems was going on in pre-schooling, educational and medical establishments. In this regard Mayor Taron Margaryan commented on the information appeared in the press concerning the kindergartens where heating systems are not turned on.
“For several years I have been repeating that there is not such a term as “heating season beginning”. Establishments are to be connected to the system of heating as soon as it is necessary. Therefore the principals of all educational establishments were given corresponding powers to turn on the heating systems depending on the weather. Required financial means have been provide as well. And after all such an irresponsible behaviour of school headmasters is unforgivable. Actually, the problem refers to our children's health and the headmasters trying to save means at the cost of our children's health must be brought to responsibility”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
