All the urban development programs in the capital are going on in accordance with the determined schedule. This was reported during the working meeting in the City Hall which was chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
The head of Building and Improvement Department reported that repairing of holes and filling of cracks are being carried out in accordance with the program of 2016. The Mayor instructed to carry on rigid control over the quality and terms of the activities to be carried out by the organizations won the competitions. It was also instructed to arrange the building sites properly while implementation of building and improvement programs in various parts of the capital.
It was reported that within the frames of cooperation between Yerevan Municipality and private sector the second stage of the reconstruction going in the inside part of Main avenue is going on. In accordance with the determined schedule the program of reconstruction and modernization of “Vernissage” is going on as well.
“ We submitted the issue of commercial activity regulation in the area of “ Vernissage” to the discussion of Yerevan Council of Elders. Work actively with the factions, hear out and discuss their suggestions. The meeting of the Council is scheduled for September and it will be specified what can be sold at “Vernissage” and the issues will get its final solution”, said Taron Margaryan.
The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that as a result of everyday control in the sphere 2 cases of violation had been revealed the previous week, at one of the locations dismantling had been fulfilled. The Mayor instructed to go on the control in the mentioned area with the aim of exclusion of illegalities.
