Within the frames of the working visit to the city greenhouse facilities of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan referred to the issue of the care for green areas outlining that in parallel with the expansion of green zones about 150 working places were created in landscaping companies within recent years. Approximately, 650 people are employed in these companies.
«Taking the opportunity I'd like to express my gratitude to those who do their best to provide neat and presentable look of our capital», said Taron Margaryan.
The Mayor also outlined the importance of conscientious work of entrepreneurs.
«Many entrepreneurs have their contribution to preservation of green areas and their care. From year to year they fulfill the requirements of the norms of obligatory improvement of the surrounding areas with a greater responsibility»,said Taron Margaryan.
The mayor noted that the main goal is not to fine those who don't fulfill the requirements but to instill a caring attitude to the native city.
«I am sure that we'll be able to achieve that everyone feels responsible for keeping the city clean. In recent years our citizens have become more responsive and caring for the capital», stressed Taron Margaryan.
The Mayor also stressed the importance of effective cooperation with international organizations and the private sector.
«Taking into account the fact of the effective cooperation formed within recent 3-4 years, I feel certain that together with our co-citizens and partners we'll be able to make Yerevan more beautiful and greener», said Taron Margaryan assuring that the staffs of Yerevan Municipality and of the heads of the administrative districts will go on doing their best to make the capital more well-arranged and comfortable for everyone.
