Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan handed the keys to a new flat to the RA People's Artist, RA Honorary Art Worker, documentary film maker, scenario writer, actor, the Arm SSR and RF Honorary Art Worker Artavazd Peleshyan and to the celloist, awardee of the gold medal of Tchaikovsky music contest, «Movses Khorenatsi» medal awardee Narek Hakhnazaryan.
Congratulating the art figures Mayor Taron Margaryan highly appreciated their professional activity outlining the particular importance of the mission to bring up and educate an art loving generation.
«At the suggestion of the President of the Republic it has become a tradition to grant new flats to our distinguished art workers. It is a special appreciation of all our citizens who contributed greatly to upholding the honour of our country worldwide due to their talent and professional skills. Cordially congratulating them I wish them to live a happy and healthy life in their new flats», said Taron Margaryan wishing them success in their creative activity.
Artavazd Peleshyan and Narek Hakhnazaryan in their turn expressed gratitude for appreciation. It should be noted that decision on granting the Yerevan community-owned flats to A. Peleshyan and N. Hakhnazaryan was made at the meeting of the Council of Elders taken place on March 18.
