During the working conference with the staff in the City Hall Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan discussed the issues related to «Come home» program of 2016. Stressing the particular importance of proper organization of the program in Yerevan Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to make preparations for complete organization and proper implementation of the program.
«Owing to this already traditional program, jointly with the Ministry of Diaspora we have hosted many children accommodating them in hospitable families in the administrative districts of Yerevan. I am sure that this year the staffs of the administrative districts and the Municipality are already ready to start «Come home» program and to host the children properly», stressed Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for permanent assistance and readiness to Yerevan Municipaity Hranush Hakobyan said that this program had become a powerful all-Armenian network which is greatly supported by Yerevan.
«On behalf of all participants I'd like to express gratitude to Yerevan Municipality and personally to you, Mister Mayor, as well as to all administrative districts for the significant work. In 2015 about 1100 children were given the opportunity to spend their summer holidays in Yerevan. I should admit that the families hosting the children become a tie for development of cooperation between homeland and Diaspora», said the Minister.
The RA Minister of Diaspora also noted that to encourage the individuals and organizations assisting in the realization of the program they set a number of prizes and awards. In accordance with the decision of the coordinating commission of «Come home» program, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was recognized «Reliable partner». The head of Erebuni administrative district was handed the certificate in the nomination «Best administrative district». The certificate «Most active administrative district» given to Nor Nork district, and «The best administrative district-partner» was awarded to Malatia Sebastia. This year the Ministry also set an encouraging prize-10 children will have a rest in Batumi. 5 tourist tickets of 10 were given to Yerevan.
Expressing gratitude for the appreciation Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that the doors of hospitable Yerevan are always open for all our compatriots and guests.
