On 23-28 February in Berlin, the European Centre of democracy, the EDS Winter University on “Europe 2030: United We Stand” was held. The Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of RPA Youth Organization Lilit Beglaryan represented the Republican Party of Armenia.

It should be mentioned that European Democrat Students (EDS) is a pan-European centre-right student and youth political association, and the official student organisation of the European People's Party. It represents over 1.600.000 students and young people in 36 member organisations from 31 countries in Europe, and is the largest youth organisation in Europe. Its stated goal is to promote a free, democratic and united Europe through a greater student mobility and comprehensive education policies across the continent. European Democrat Students has been always a frontrunner in integration, fighting for open borders, united Europe and European debate in European politics.

This year EDS celebrates its 55th anniversary therefore one of the goals of the winter university is to recall carried out activities and achievements and the legacy of preserving and developing the idea of a united and prosperous Europe, dissemination and storage of previous generations.

The winter university launched with the meeting of the Head of RCDS (Ring Christlich-Demokratischer Studenten) J. Krishnan and the Chairman of EDS Georgios Chatzigeorgiou.

Within the frameworks of the program several reports were made, as well as discussions were held on the future of European security, political communications, educational policy in Europe, risks associated with the students, migration crisis, and economic system remodeling issues.
