On the event of Book Presenting Day the schoolchildren of the capital visited the City Hall and presented books to Mayor Taron Margaryan.
Congratulating the pupils and expressing gratitude to them for the present the Mayor of Yerevan said with delight that to the credit of parents and teachers today we have the population with patriotism and national values instilled.
Taron Margaryan presented them illustrated albums telling about the history of Yerevan and wished them good luck in their study.
The schoolchildren also presented books to the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan and to other deputies. With the same aim the children met with the Vice Presidents of the RA National Assembly Hermineh Naghdalyan and Eduard Sharmazanov, as well as with the RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan.
