Three-day seminar on «Political challenges in Armenia. Constitutional reforms» was held by the joint initiative of RPA Youth organization and CAS foundation

On 12-14 February at «Park Resort Aghveran» hotel a three-day seminar on «Political challenges in Armenia. Constitutional reforms» was held by the joint initiative of RPA Youth organization and «Konrad Adenauer» foundation. 25 young republicans participated in the seminar.
The project's goal was to disseminate relevant knowledge and skills to young politicians on the problems existing in the political field, which will contribute to the implementation of targeted actions to promote civil society by RPA Youth organization.
The opening ceremony of the seminar was attended by the Head of RPA Youth Organization, the RA NA Deputy Karen Avagyan, who in his speech attached great importance to the knowledge of Young Republicans on the expected reforms in the country and ensuring youth participation in these processes. Immediately after the official opening the Chief of Staff, General Secretary of the National Assembly Hrayr Tovmasyan represented the challenges of the proportional electoral system, its advantages and disadvantages. The Head of the Chair of Constitutional Law of YSU Faculty of Law Gevorg Danielyan gave a lecture on constitutional reforms.
On the next day of the program the associate professors of the Faculty of the International relations of YSU Alen Ghevndyan and Khachik Galstyan gave a lecture concerning the impact of the constitutional reforms on strategic planning in politics and negotiating skills and formation of coalition.
At the end of the program participants were given certificates.
