 In accordance with the tradition, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the RA MD military unit based in the capital, met with the fixed-period servicemen, congratulated them on the coming holidays. The RA Minister of Health Armen Muradyan, the Chairman of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre Martin Sargsyan and the President of the Union of Writers of Armenia Edward Militonyan visited the military union together with the Mayor. Greeting and congratulating the servicmen Taron Margaryan assured that Yerevan Municipality will go on being next to them and their families.
"Be sure that Homeland, the native city to defence which you serve in the army, are always next to you. We are grateful to you for the peace in our country the borders of which you are guarding steadfastly. Be sure that Yerevan Municipality will go on being next to the servicemen and to their families. I wish all of you a Happy New Year and a good service. Let the year of 2016 be the year of peace", said Taron Margaryan. Within the frames of the visit the military unit was presented with TV sets, and the soldiers were presented with New Year presents by Yerevan Mayor.
