As part of his working visit to Georgia, President Serzh Sargsyan had a meeting today with the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in Tbilisi.
Serzh Sargsyan and Irakli Garibashvili expressed satisfaction with the fact that the two countries’ interstate ties which are anchored in traditionally good-neighborly relations and in a historical foundation between the two friendly peoples, including the productive collaboration of the Armenian and Georgian governments, create serious prerequisites to outline new dimensions for the existing partnership.
The interlocutors attached importance to the realization of infrastructural programs of regional importance, including energy programs, which, they agreed, will considerably stimulate the strengthening of economic ties between Armenia and Georgia, and will contribute to trade growth.
Touching upon the two countries’ involvement in integration processes, the RA president and the Georgian prime minister highlighted their complementary nature and the importance of the interconnectedness of infrastructural programs.
