On 16-18 October in Hamburg the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of RPA Youth Organization Lilit Beglaryan participated in the congress of the CDU Young Union. It was titled “Your future is important”. We should mention that the Youth Organization of RPA was invited by the CDU Young Union to participate in Deutschlandtag . The congress was attended by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the Minister of Defense of Germany Ursula von der Leyen, CDU and SCU General Secretaries, other high-ranking officials, as well as about 100 guests from 28 countries.
There were held discussions on three global topics: “Economy and Energy”, “Digitization”, “Demographical changes”. At the course of the congress the representative of RPA Youth Organization made a speech. “We would like to express our profound gratitude to the President of Germany for the historical truth concerning the recognition of the Armenian Genocide. It has given new impetus to the Armenian-German relations. Being truly committed to the European universal values, we have concretized our position by joining the Christian-Democrat families, and today we are a member of DEMYC and EDS”.
