Annual event dedicated to the Teacher’s Day at Yerevan Chamber Music Hall named after Komitas by RPA Women’s Council

On 5 October at Yerevan Chamber Music Hall named after Komitas by the initiative of RPA Women’s Council the annual event dedicated to the Teacher’s Day was held. The solemn ceremony of awarding teachers was attended by the RA Prime-Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the NA Vice-President, the Chairman of RPA Women’s Council Hermine Naghdalyan, the NA Deputies Ruzanna Muradyan, Karine Poghosyan, Margarit Esayan, Members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Naira Nahapetyan, Ruzanna Sirunyan, Members of RPA Women’s Council G. Antonyan, G. Sayadyan, S. Poghosyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Education and Science Manuk Mkrtchyan, the RA Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Jemma Baghdasaryan and other high-ranking officials.
About 140 teachers from various regions of the Republic of Armenia were awarded Diplomas, Letters of acknowledgment and presents by the Republican Party of Armenia, the RA Prime-Minister, the RA Ministry of Defense, the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
The RA Prime-Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that people are the most expensive recourse of Armenia and our state should be built upon this base and on this way the largest contribution belongs to teachers.
