PRESIDENT RECEIVED AMBASSADOR OF UKRAINE TO ARMENIA IVAN KUKHTA

 President Serzh Sargsyan today received Ivan Kukhta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Armenia, who was paying his farewell visit.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Kukhta for his contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-Ukrainian friendly relations during his tenure and for proper implementation of his diplomatic duties. The RA President wished Ivan Kukhta further successes.

The RA President and the Ukrainian Ambassador shared the view that in Armenia there was respectful attitude towards the Ukrainian people and Ukraine. In this regard Ivan Kukhta stated with satisfaction that the other day, during the meeting with the Ukrainian community in Armenia, he had once again enjoyed that attention and years-long caring attitude toward the community. He reassured that there was similar attitude toward the actively-involved Armenian community in Ukraine.

Ambassador Kukhta extended his gratitude to the RA President and all the governmental bodies for the productive cooperation and support during his tenure.

The interlocutors expressed hope that the peace in Ukraine would be restored asap opening up new opportunities to fully realize the potential of Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation in economic and other fields.
