One of the initiatives of RPA Women’s Council: The event “100 trees ahead of the centennial” continued on April 23 in Tavush region

The events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide continue in Tavush region. On April 20 the Women’s Council organized a tree planting event titled “100 trees on the occasion of the 100th anniversary”. The event was held near Ijevan school N3.
Intellectuals, pedagogues, female staff members of Tavush region administration attended the tree planting ceremony. As the Chief of Staff of Tavush region administration mentioned, a tree is a symbol of an eternal life and organizing a tree planting we not only perpetuate the memory of innocent victims killed during the genocide, but we say no to any kind of violence.
The tree planting will continue, the next region is Shirak.
