Construction Industry Development Prospects Discussed in Government

 Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, a consultation on construction industry’s current situation and development prospects was held today in the Office of Government, attended by representatives of relevant ministries and construction companies.

Welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of holding meetings in the given format, which is a good opportunity to identify and look at ways of tackling the problems existing in the field of construction.

He added that the government seeks to identify the existing problems and create favorable conditions for investment projects in the field of construction. During the exchange of ideas that followed, the representatives of line ministries answered the questions raised by the developers in attendance, which bore in construction processes, as well as other procedures.

Highlighting the importance of promoting investments in construction, Prime Minister Abrahamyan stressed the need for consistent cooperation between all the stakeholders.

The Premier suggested following up on the issues discussed in the framework of a working group consisting of interested parties in order to submit recommendations and solutions.
