 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan took part in the ceremony of laying of the foundation of the block of flats at Mikoyan 4/3 and 4/6 in the capital to be built by means of «Help your brother» charity foundation. The to be built block of flats has been provided for the Syrian Armenian families settled in Yerevan. Presenting the details of the project to Mayor Taron Margaryan the member of the Board of Trustees of the foundation of the Supreme Body of ARF-D Lilit Galstyan noted that the program of housing of Syrian Armenians settled in Yerevan is one of the most large-scale initiatives of the foundation which is already being realized. Lilit Grigoryan also thanked Mayor Taron Margaryan for supporting the project and being next to the foundation.
"It is a social program with exceptional moral, political and civil message. Thank you, Mister Mayor, for being next to us and supporting us within your powers. Both in the issue of land allocation and in building permission and other issues we have always felt your support and care for the program", said Lilit Galstyan. In accordance with the project confirmed by the Municipality of Yerevan, a 14-storey block of flats with 78 flats is to be built in the are of about 600 sq m.
