 During the regular working conference the Mayor of Yerevan was reported that in 2014 a number of programs aimed at satisfaction of the needs of disabled people were realized jointly with public organizations. In particular, special swings for children with locomotor disabilities were installed in the parks of the administrative districts of Ajapnyak and Kentron and in the Yerevan Zoo. It was also reported that the NGO "Unison" was allocated a land plot to establish there an educational and manufacturing enterprise. It was also mentioned that within the frames of the program "The Municipality of Yerevan for Yerevan children" 17 single mothers of the children with cerebral palsy got the opportunity of free rehabilitation treatment. Sport events had also been held. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to go on the activities and to keep the current programs at permanent control. Referring to the program of overhauling of educational, cultural and medical establishments the head of the Department of Building and Improvement reported that in 57 objects the work had been mainly over. In two kindergartens the repair is still going on but it is to be finished by the end of the year. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the head of the Department of General Education to initiate the process of group formation in the kindergarten N 1 in Kentron district as soon as the reconstruction is over. "In accordance with the promise given to our residents the process of group formation in the kindergarten N 1 is to be started as soon as the repair has been finished", said Taron Margaryan.
Last week 142 administrative records were drawn up regarding waste removal in unprovided places. Mayor Taron Margaryan assigned the persons in charge to keep the process under control to exclude such cases. "When the residents require a clean Yerevan they must be the first to realize the responsibility for keeping the capital clean as they are the owners of the city. Set everyday control over the problem and be the violator an individual, an organization or a sanitary cleaning company they are to be disciplined. I am sure that due to our joint efforts we will find the solution to this problem and form a special culture. We must go on the activities till this phenomenon has been completely eliminated", stressed the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan.
The head of the Department of Communal Services reported that in accordance with the program of 2014 the winter preparations in blocks of flats had been finished.
Regarding illegal street trade prevention the head of the Department of Trade and Service reported that 21 cases of administrative violation had been recorded the previous week. Taking into account the possible attempts of street trade prior to the New Year the Mayor instructed to carry out visits to the administrative districts and to set everyday control. Taking into account that the activities provided for by the annual program have been mainly completed the Mayor instructed to present the annual reports on the work done to the public.
