 Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received a World Bank delegation led by World Bank Armenia Office Director Laura Bailey.

The interlocutors discussed Armenia’s current economic status and the prospects for development, as well as monetary and fiscal policy-related issues.

Both sides stressed the importance of implementing economic policy in tune with the global and regional economic realities and the precarious situation on the international market, as well as the formation of an appropriate economic environment.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperating in the aforementioned areas.
