 On November 5 the RA NA President Galust Sahakyan met with the Chairs of the Standing Committees and the representatives of the factions of the Youth Parliament. The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan attended the meeting.

Welcoming the young parliamentarians, the RA NA President has noted that he highlights the meetings with the young people to listen to their opinions and viewpoints on different issues. He has expressed hope that in our country there are many well-informed and intellectual young people, who after passing some political experience will fully be able to lead the political processes of the state. He has urged the representatives of the Youth Parliament to be united and irrespective of independent political orientation to move through cooperation, to work out joint programmes and present to the society. He has highlighted the debates of the legislative proposals submitted by the young MPs in the NA Standing Committees, the organization of the parliamentary hearings on the problems concerning the young people and the coverage of the works of the Youth Parliament within the framework of the TV programme Parliamentary Week .

During the warm and intimate talk the NA President answered the young parliamentarians' interpellations and touched upon numerous problems. Their interpellations referred to the peculiarities of the legislative work, the NA-Government cooperation, the role of the youth in the state-building process, the constitutional reforms, the necessity of legal consultation and organization of courses in mastering skills of legal technique, the complicated and hard path of becoming a political figure.

At the end of the meeting Galust Sahakyan promised to permanently support the young people and make such meetings continuous.
