 On October 1 the National Assembly continued the work of the four-day sittings, passing by voting the Technical Agreement on Cooperation and Support within the Framework of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Italy signed in Brussels on June 3, 2014, which was considered on the previous day, and the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Local Duties and Fees” authored by the deputies Vahram Baghdasaryan, Araik Hovhannisyan, Artsvik Minasyan, Margarit Yesayan, Tevan Poghosyan, Mnatskan Mnatsakanyan and Stepan Margaryan.

The draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Legal Regime of the State of Emergency” authored by the ANC Faction deputies, was refused.

By the NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan’s proposal the deputies welcomed the lecturers and students of the Northern University, who had visited the parliament within the framework of the “Open Lesson” programme and who were observing the sitting.

Then the parliament continued debating the report of the Public Television Company Council on the Activity of the Public Television and Radio Company for 2013.
