A meeting with the 2014 Greco-Roman Wrestling champions

 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the world champions of 2014 Greco-Roman Wrestling Arsen Julfalakyan, Arsen Alexanyan and their coaches who visited the Municipality headed by the chief coach of the Armenian national team Levon Julfalakyan.
Greeting the guests Mayor Taron Margaryan first of all congratulated them on the victory in the World Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship held in Tashkent recently and thanked them for upholding the honour of Armenia. “ The high results achieved by our sportsmen in the international competitions make each of us feel happy and inspired. It’s really a honour to have masters of sport like you. I watched your battles with a sense of pride and I am grateful to you that due to you the Armenian three-colour was hoisted in Tashkent. I wish you a lot of success and Olympic height”, stressed the Mayor.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception and wishes the chief coach of the Armenian national team of Greco-Roman wrestling Levon Julfalakyan in his turn noted that the appreciation and permanent support of Armenian sportsmen are really important in the issue of bringing victories. “Permanent support and necessary conditions are of vita significance in the issue of having future champions. Taking the opportunity I’d like to thank you, Mister Mayor, particularly for the permanent support provided in recent years. You keep the problems of sport schools modernization at permanent focus of attention and as a result of appropriate actions the required conditions are provided in sport schools. I assure you that we will go on doing our best to uphold the honour of our country”, said Levon Julfalakyan.
Mayor Taron Margaryan once again assured that the Municipality is willing to show thorough support within its powers to provide new achievements in this sphere.
At the end of the meeting the Mayor presented 2014 World Wrestling champions Arsen Julfalakyan and Artur Alexanyan souvenirs with the coat of arms of Yerevan.
