The Turkish—Armenian singer Sipil has been awarded with Yerevan Mayor's gold medal

 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the Turkish- Armenian singer Sipil who is well-known turkey with her performances of Armenian songs of different times including the lyrical songs written in the 19-20 centuries and dedicated to the historical homeland. Greeting the singer and highly appreciating her patriotic activity Yerevan Mayor expressed her gratitude for a number of charity initiatives carried out recently in Yerevan.
«As the capital of all Armenians has also become the center for unifying all Armenians of Diaspora. As the Mayor of Yerevan I am happy that besides your direct activities you initiate charitable projects», said Mayor Taron Margaryan. For the contribution to spreading Armenian musical art and the benevolent activities carried out in Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded singer Sipil Bektorosoghlu with Yerevan Mayor's gold medal.
«Thank you for the award which will give a new stimulus to my creative activity and will make me feel more responsible in my work. Thank you for your support without which I wouldn't be able to have my humble contribution, to be useful to the capital of my homeland. I have called my latest album «Love» with which I want to express my love for my nation», said the singer.
