At the Four-day Sittings of the RA National Assembly

 On September 10 the parliament continued its work. The RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan welcomed the adoption of the bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide and the Pontic Greeks' genocide by the Hellenic Parliament on September 9.

Then the deputies by voting in the first reading passed the bill “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements” authored by the deputy Arpine Hovhannisyan.

The parliament continued debating the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Compulsory Enforcement Service of Judicial Acts” authored by Arpine Hovhannisyan, Vahram Baghdasaryan and Hermine Naghdalyan.

The NA deputies Gagik Jhangiryan, Naira Zohrabyan, Artsvik Minasyan, Edmon Marukyan, Hovhannes Margaryan, Hovhannes Sahakyan delivered speeches on the issue. The latter has noted that as a result of debates, it became clear that the problems existing in the sphere are not completely regulated.

In their final speeches the RA First Deputy of the Minister of Justice Arsen Mkrtchyan and the NA deputy the co-author of bill Arpine Hovhannisyan touched upon the interpellations voiced in the deputies’ speeches and gave clarifications.

The parliament in the second reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Environmental Impact Assessment and Expertise.”

Then the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan presented two credit agreements signed between the RA Government and international banks on May 23, 2014.

The Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan presented the endorsement of the Committee.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs also endorsed the agreements.

By the established order of the RA “NA Rules of Procedure” law at the Wednesday last sitting the members of the government answered the deputies’ questions.
