This kindergarten was founded in 1977 and today has about 300 pupils.
Answering the questions of the journalists the Mayor assured that the sphere of education is always at the focus of attention of the Municipality and within the recent years the city authorities have been solving all the problems pointed out by the persons in charge.”In this context in 2011 we solved the problem of heating in all kindergartens of the capital, and in 2012 we provided heating in all schools. It was a problem of priority indeed. But the problem of repairing was of no less importance so we have been trying to solve it step by step. This year we have repaired 22 kindergartens, three of which are in Avan district”, said Taron Margaryan. The Mayor also noted that AMD 6 milliard 600 million was disbursed from the community budget for solving this problem. The project “Property purchasing for pre-schooling education organization” initiated last year is being realized this year as well and due to it furniture, kitchen and technical appliances are being replaced with new ones.
The Mayor also said that besides repairing and changing the property they are going to take measures to expand the areas of kindergartens. “About 30 thousand children attend kindergartens subordinated to the Municipality. We should take measures to expand the areas of kindergartens to make it possible for more children to go to kindergartens. With this aim I have instructed corresponding subdivisions to inventory the building facilities of kindergartens and to re-consider the purposeful significance of some areas given for leasing or free using years ago”, said Taron Margaryan.
The parents of the children thanked the Mayor for permanent attention to kindergartens.
