In 2014 5 chess schools are to be put into operation in the capital

Within the frames of working visit to Malatia Sebastia district Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the chess school which is being constructed and watched the process on spot. Presenting the details of the process the persons in charge reported that the work is going on in accordance with the schedule. The Mayor instructed to keep the quality of work under permanent control. After the building activities this school will be equipped with corresponding furniture. The persons in charge assured that the number of chess playing children and young people will increase due to opening this school. This year 5 chess schools will be put into operation in the capital and they will be free of charge.
Then accompanied by the head of the district Mayor Taron Margaryan visited the kindergarten N 82 adjacent to the chess school, walked about the rooms and familiarized himself with the conditions of children's care and education. Taking the opportunity the staff of the kindergarten thanked the Mayor for permanent attention and care stressing the importance of the decision of making kindergartens free of charge. The Mayor promised that the necessary conditions will be provided in all kindergartens in the capital.
During the visit the Mayor also familiarized himself with the process of overhauling being carried out in the musical school after Al. Ajemyan The Mayor was reported that all conveniences will be provided for 450 pupils of the school due to overhauling. Having thanked Taron Margaryan for the policy directed at the improvement of the conditions in educational establishments of the capital the director of the musical school stressed that the program was really expected both by the staff and the children and their parents.
