 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan accompanied by the Vice Prime Minister of the NKR Artur Aghabekyan, Stepanakert Mayor Suren Grigoryan visited "Karabakh carpet" company. The Mayor on spot was introduced the wole process of carpet weaving in the best Artsakh traditions. The director of the company particularly noted that the process is carried out locally beginning from wool dying up to the bringing the carpet into its final look. It was noted that the company provides 150 working places.
Then Mayor Taron Margaryan familiarized himself with the activity of the sewing manufacture adjunct to the company. The persons in charge noted that it provides 120 working places so it plays a significant role in the issue of the population employment.
The Mayor was also presented the facilities of the manufacture founded by means of foreign investments. This plant is going to serve as training center for skillful sewing specialists and in a short time will provide 500 working places. It is not less important that the production of the manufacture is going to be imported. Getting acquainted with the production capability and the programs of the presented companies Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan wished them a lot of success and assured that the Municipality of Yerevan is willing to assist them in their development programs within its powers.
