 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the representatives of the Council of the RA Veterans’ Union. The member of the “Republican Party” faction of the Council of Elders, the chairman of the permanent commission for financial and credit and economical issues Naira Nahapetyan participated in the meeting too.
Highly appreciating the contribution of the veterans to the issue of statehood development and their patriotic activity Taron Margaryan assured that the Municipality of Yerevan will go on showing permanent support to the initiatives of the Union. “ Both our and the coming generations will certainly be grateful to your generation which has always uphold the honour and dignity of the Armenian nation with their victories in the Great Patriotic War and the Artsakh war. And today, due to you as well that we have a state, and together we are going on to do our best to accomplish all the initiatives directed at making our country more powerful”, stressed Taron Margaryan. Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and attaching particular importance to the permanent care and systematic support shown by Mayor Taron Margaryan to the Union and to veterans the President of the Council of the RA Veterans’ Union Simon Yesayan in his turn assured that they will go on contributing to the issues of statehood development.
