Fifth Meeting of the Armenian-Russian Parliamentary Club in the National Assembly

On June 11 in the National Assembly the fifth meeting on “Non-governmental Organizations as Means of State Policy Implementation” of the Armenian-Russian Parliamentary Club was held.
The NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan, the NA deputies, experts, representatives of the NGOs and media took part in the meeting. Dmitry Kiselyov, Russia Segodnya General Director of International Information Agency, and Veronika Krasheninnikova, General Director of the Institute for Foreign Policy Research and Initiatives, were the guests of the event.
In the opening word the NA Deputy Speaker Hermine Naghdalyan noted with satisfaction that the Armenian-Russian Parliamentary Club had become a platform of discussion of many current problems, exchange of thoughts and disputes, which contributes to the effective solution of the raised problems.
During the discussion the role of the NGOs in the Eurasian integration was highlighted. The participants touched upon the necessity of regulating the activity of those organizations at state level, the cooperation of the mess media and the civil society, the mechanisms of the rise of the effectiveness of media work, the use of the international best experience in this sphere and state information policy in terms of the Eurasian integration.
