 Dear compatriots
I congratulate you on the Republic Day and on the anniversary of Sardarapat heroic battle.
96 years ago, on May 28 took place the event for which our people had been waiting for centuries. We re-achieved the right of having an independent statehood and in spite of various hardships we recreated our state on our land, the first Republic of Armenia! On this day the world heard about Armenians once more, knew that we are here to defend ourselves again and again, with an unbreakable will to create our future ourselves.
And today, celebrating the day of our first Republic we bow our heads before all those heroes who gained this right at the cost of their lives in the battles in Sardarapat, Bash Aparan, Gharakilis and in other places and proved the world once again that the Armenian soldier is really undefeatable when he fights for his own country, his homeland, his hearth and dignity. Their example inspired the new heroes and brought us another glorious victory in May- deliberation of Shushi.
Congratulating all of us once again on this event I wish everybody strong health, peace and success. Let’s be worth the glory of our hero ancestors and hand down to generations more powerful, more flourishing Armenia!
