Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan discussed the issues related to "Come home" program

During the meeting with the staff of the Municipality of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan discussed the issues related to «Come home» program.
"This is the sixth year running that the Municipality of Yerevan takes active part in "Come home" program. And as every year the program is expanded and the number of the participants increases we are ready to take corresponding steps to host more Armenian children from Diaspora. Within the frames of the municipality powers we are always ready to support the programs of the Ministry and develop the cooperation", stressed Taron Margaryan and on spot instructed the persons in charge to make preparations to provide proper organization of the program.
"In the recent 5 years we have hosted more than 5 thousand Armenian children from Diaspora. This year 1000 children are going to visit their Homeland. Many of them coming to Yerevan fall in love with this city and anticipate their future here. Every day I hear positive reports from our compatriots arrived from Diaspora regarding the changes in our capital and I am very grateful to you for this, Mister mayor", said Hranush Hakobyan.
To carry out this program a joint working group is to be formed. Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan also discussed the issues related to the festival of culture called «My Armenia», as wel as to holding the 5th conference «Armenia-Diaspora» in Yerevan/
