 The march dedicated to the World Autism Awareness Day started at the City Hall of Yerevan where Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the participants. Greeting the initiative the Mayor wished good luck to the participants who were mainly the pupils of a number of secondary schools especially of the ones which provide inclusive education. With this march they expressed their support to their schoolmates and made the society aware of their problems.
The director of the “Autism” national foundation Lilit Atajanyan noted that this year said that this year on April 2 they chose the City Hall of Yerevan as the place for starting the annual event dedicated to Autism Awareness Day as a token of gratitude, as due to the support of the Mayor of Yerevan a building has been allotted for the children with autism where all necessary conditions are provided for children’s effective study.
