 Within the frames of the reception organized by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan on the event of the International Day of Theater, the Mayor congratulated the workers of the Armenian theater art on the event of their professional holiday. The RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan was also present at the event. In his speech Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the role of the representatives of the Armenian stage in keeping and spreading of the national values.
''Our people have always loved and appreciated theater which includes all the spheres of art. Perhaps this is why stage art has always attracted audience. Besides aesthetic delight given to audience theater also has its unique contribution to the issue of keeping and spreading of spiritual values, promoting development of our country and beloved capital. I wish you, dear workers of art, strong health, happiness, creative success and effective activity. Be sure that the Municipality of Yerevan will always support the workers of Armenian theater'',stressed Taron Margaryan.
Then, on the event of the International Theater Day, for the contribution to the sphere of theater art, for the creation and spreading of art values Mayor Taron Margaryan awarded the decorator, sculptor David Minasyan,the actor, director Vigen Stepanyan, scenario writer, director Krist Manaryan and the actor, director Levon Ivanyan with the medal '' Honorary Culture Worker of Yerevan''.
