 During the regular working conference Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was reported that with the aim of arrangement of new parking places for taxis in the administrative districts certain proposals submitted by interested organizations had been discussed and after additional studies 35 areas were separated for new free parking. The Mayor instructed to furnish those areas with corresponding road signs as soon as possible. The persons in charge as well as the heads of the administrative districts were assigned to submit proposals regarding possible places for new parking.
The head of the Department of Health Care reported that 14 thousand women had applied to municipality subordinated policlinics within the frames of ''For you, women'' action. After carrying out necessary medical check-ups 1722 women got referrals for operations.
The head of the Department of Trade and Services reported that the previous week as a result of control 31 acts of illegal trade had been drawn up 28 of which were in the administrative district of Kentron. The main part of the acts was drawn up by the employees the Department of Trade and Services of the Municipality. Mayor Taron Margaryan stressed that such events are intolerable and instructed the head of the administrative district of Kentron to reprimand the head of the division of trade, services and advertisement.
Taron Margaryan instructed to set strict control over the quality of work carried out by the organizations won in the process of purchases. The Mayor instructed to make preparations for the arrangement of the citywide clean-up scheduled for April 12 during which trees are to be planted as well.
Taron Margaryan also instructed to make preparations for the organization of meeting of Yerevan parents with their sons serving in the army in the frontier areas of Armenia which is scheduled for May.
