 The Municipality of Yerevan and Yerevan State College of Art after F.Terlemezyan are preparing a joint present for the capital of the NKR, Stepanakert. Four sculptures being made by senior students of the college these days are to be taken to Stepanakert after May holidays. The sculptures will be placed in the parks of Stepanakert. “We have offered Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan to present the sculptures to Stepanakert on behalf of the Municipality of Yerevan. The Mayor gladly undertook the responsibility. Since Stepanakert is a white city we chose red tufa. Of the submitted 10 sketches we have chosen 4 ones which harmonize with the city”, said the director of Yerevan State College of Art after F. Terlemezyan Anna Mnatsakanyan-Arushanyan.
According to the student sculptors, they started the work with great enthusiasm as their sculptures will be placed in the capital of Artsakh.
