The Mayor of Yerevan was present at the opening of the exhibition called “Spring tunes”

  Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the opening of the exhibition called “Spring tunes” held in the Union of Artists of Armenia. Exhibitions of the works of art of women-artists prior to the Women’s holiday have already become traditional. This time about 200 women-artists with their 130 works of art were presented at the exhibition. The Mayor accompanied by the RA Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan and the vice-chairman of the RA NA, the president of the RPA Women’s Council Hermine Naghdalyan walked about and familiarized himself with the exhibits and talked to the authors.

Greeting and congratulating those present Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that creating the opportunity to present the works of art of women-artists to the public at the threshold of the International Women’s Day is an attempt to appreciate them. “Armenian men are always strong due to their women as well for Armenian women are first of all mothers and this fact speaks for itself. Taking the opportunity I’d like to congratulate both the creative and all Armenian women in general on this beautiful holiday and wish them happiness and good luck in all their initiatives. And let the Armenian hearth always stay strong due to you dear women”, stressed the Mayor. The exhibition held under the sponsorship of the Women’s Council of the RPA will be open within a week.
