 On the event of the national festival of Yazidis «Khydyrnavi» the Advisor to the Mayor of Yerevan Arayik Kotanjyan received five Yazidi students having much success in their studying in the universities of Yerevan and the RA Honorary journalists the leader of the division of the programmes in the Yazidi language on the Public radio Hasan Tamoyan.
Congratulating those present on the event of the national holiday on behalf of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan Arayik Kotanjyan noted that the problems of national minorities are always at the focus of attention of Municipality of Yerevan and at direct attention of the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan. The Adviser to the Mayor reminded that there is a Yezid member in the Council of Elders, Armen Amiryan who actively raises the problems of the Yazidi community.
Expressing gratitude for warm reception those present asked the Mayor’s Advisor to convey their greeting and gratitude to the mayor for permanent support and promotion in the solution of concrete problems. The five students who were present at the meeting were awarded with the honorary diplomas of the Municipality of Yerevan for their progress in study and their activity directed at keeping their national identity.
