 On the Day of presenting books a group of the pupils of Yerevan schools who participated within the day in various events dressed like Armenian writers or the heroes of Armenian literature visited the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan.
The schoolchildren presented the Mayor a book as the Mayor the symbol of the day. Though the pupils’ visit was a surprise for Taron Margaryan took care so that they were presented books as well. Taron Margaryan presented the pupils illustrated books about Yerevan and wished them success in study.
Another group of pupils visiting the City Hall from early morning presented books to the First Deputy Mayor Kamo Areyan, to Deputy Mayors, to the Staff Secretary and to other members of the staff.
On February 19,since early morning 30 pupils of Yerevan schools toured about the citis of Yerevan and presented books to passers-by by the initiative of the Department of General Education.
On the Day of presenting books the pupils also visited the RA Ministry of Diaspora where they were welcomed by Minister Hranush Hakobyan, then were in the Ministry of Education of and Science as well as the Ministry of Culture and presented books to the members of the staffs of the ministries.
