 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Armenia Kurbannazar Nazarov. Greeting the guest the Mayor first of all congratulated him on his appointment at the responsible office of the ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia.
Presenting the guest his approaches in the issue of urban management Taron Margaryan separated those fields where the Municipality of Yerevan cooperated effectively with partner cities.
"We have a lot to do in the direction of establishment partnership between Yerevan and the cities of Turkmenistan. Unfortunately, there is no cooperation between the cities of the two countries today so we expect your support in the issues of establishment and strengthening the bilateral ties", said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm cooperation Kurbannazar Nazarov stressed that he would do his best within is powers to promote development of partnership between Yerevan and the cities of Turkmenistan. "There a lot of points for cooperation in the fields of mutual interest and I assure you, Mister Mayor, that I will do my best within my powers in the direction of establishment and development of partnership between the cities of the two countries", said the Ambassador.
