 On the instruction of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the activities aimed at the prevention of illegal constructions and land occupation as well as at the elimination of their consequences are still going on. This was reported during the regular working conference chaired by the First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan. The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that one case had been registered the previous week, in two cases the illegal constructions had been dismantled.
The head of the Department of Trade and Services reported that regarding the revealed cases of illegal trade administrative acts had been drawn up.
It was instructed to go on everyday work and provide regular awarnes of the public of the work done. Snow cleaning and icicle removing from the roofs of the living blocks are also going on.It was instructed that the residents are to organize the process in their properties by their own means or by means of condominiums and in the cases when the process of cleaning is organized by the Municipality the residents mustn't hinder the activities.
The head of the Department of Control reported that that the process of food control in kindergartens is also going on. As a result of working inspections some cases of catering the products not satisfying their technical characteristocs were registeres and the food caterers had been strictly warned.It was also reported that if the cases were repeated the suppliers would be disciplined in accordance with the order established by law.
Regarding the process of meeting the contractual obligations of improvement the surrounding public areas by the economy entities it was reported that about 9000 entrepreneurs had been informed about that obligation. The entities were also given the schemes of the surrounding areas. It was instructed to inform the entities once again about the obligation of mandatory improvement of the surrounding public areas and about the responsibility determined by law in case of failing their obligations.
Regarding the responds on the phone calls received by the hot lines functioning in the corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality of Yerevan, in the services subordinated to the Municipality and in the staffs of the administrative districts, it was reported that in Municipality subordinated structures and administrative districts 257 and 179 phone calls had been received correspondingly. The majority of the raised issues got corresponding solutions, some of them are being processed.
During the brief presentation of the results of the receptions organized in the Municipality of Yerevan and the in the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts within 2013 it was reported that on the whole 8399 residents took part in the receptions and 2504 of them were in the Municipality.
5895 residents participated in the receptions organized every Thursday at the staffs of the heads of the administrative districts. The raised issues got irrefragable answers. It was instructed to go on the reception of the citizens in accordance with the determined schedule.
It was reported that the awareness of the public of the tender announced for February 14 regarding the selection of the organizations carrying out regular passenger transportation in Yerevan is going on. The deadline for application is February 6.
Regarding the construction of overground pedestrian crossings in the capital in 2014, the head of the Department of External Design and Advertisement reported that about 50 offered had been received regarding the possible places of construction which would be considered and corresponding steps would be taken in the direction of realization of the chosen offers.
