 On the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the representatives of mass media. Wishing everybody a Happy New Year, the Mayor thanked those present for the visit as well as for the active cooperation with the Municipality.
"This reception has already become a good tradition which I hope is pleasant not only for me but for you as well. I’d gladly mention that not only the journalists accredited in the Municipality are present here but also those people who has contribution to the development of the sphere of information of our country and our city, as well as the journalists of the senior and middle generation who contributed to the formation of the fourth government. The previous year was also full of events a part of which was connected with the activity of the Municipality of Yerevan. Taking the opportunity, I'd like to thank all those journalists who provided true information to the public. Moreover, in my opinion, last year the work of the Municipality of Yerevan with mass media was quite effective regardless of the fact whether or position and opinions were the same or not. In any case, we should always remember that we live in Yerevan, that we love our city and are happy with its success and worry about its future. Therefore, I'd like us to join our efforts and make our capital more comfortable, cleaner and more well-arranged. In this issue I expect your tight cooperation, and interested and just partners in your person", stressed Taron Margaryan.
Congratulating everybody once again, the Mayor expressed confidence that due to their joint work with journalists in 2014 more significant achievements will be registered in the programs of Yerevan development.
Afterwards, Taron Margaryan in a warm and friendly atmosphere talked to the representatives of the sphere of information.
