3 State Inspectorates’ Checklists Approved Following Risk-Based Checkups

Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the Inspection Reform Coordination Council met today in the Office of Government.
The council discussed the Ministry of Urban Development Staff-affiliated State Urban Development Inspectorate’s risk-based audit methodology and checklists. The risk-based inspection methodology was said to take note of facilities’ assessment, as well as the distinction of structured risk controls before starting a checkup.
The meeting further discussed a set of amendments to the law “On organizing and conducting inspections in the Republic of Armenia,” which takes into account a number of provisions specific to urban development activities.
During the exchange of opinions that followed, numerous proposals and opinions were voiced regarding the issue at hand. The Council approved the documents, considering all the proposals and recommendations made during the debate. The Premier ordered to forward them to the Ministry of Urban Development within a week’s time.
In conclusion, the meeting approved 4 and 12 checklists presented respectively on the part of the State Market Control Inspectorate by the Staff of the Ministry of Economy and the State Health Inspectorate by the Staff of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Armenia.
