 Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kuwait to Armenia Bassam Mohammad al-Qabandi.
Greeting the guest and emphasizing the development of Armenian-Kuwaiti cooperation, particularly, the perspectives of cooperation with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan attached importance to the official visit of the delegation headed by the Governor of El-Kuwait to Yerevan expected in a few days.
"I am sure that the visit of the Governor will be effective for the both sides. Today Yerevan has wide possibilities for mutually beneficial cooperation with partner cities. We are ready to present and discuss a number of projects in different fields including investment projects", said Taron Margaryan.
Ambassador Bassam Mohammad al-Qabandi in his turn thanked the Mayor for warm reception and expressed willingness to show permanent support in development of bilateral relations.
"I consider our bilateral cooperation important and desirable. Today Yerevan is a developing city and we are sure, Mister Mayor, that the mutual visits will contribute to the development and further expansion of the process", said the Ambassador.
Taron Margaryan highly appreciated the role and efforts of the Ambassador in the issue of cooperation development and expressed confidence that the cooperation between the Municipality of Yerevan and the Embassy of Quwait will go on and develop.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues related to the visit of the Governor of Kuwait.
