 Within the frames of the programs of Yerevan development arrangement, landscaping and equipment of yard areas is going on in the capital. Within the current working visit to Malatia Sebastia district Mayor Taron Margaryan together with the residents participated in the opning of two newly-built yards and small football grounds.
The residents of Isakov 36/2 and 36/3 blocks of flat assured that the completely arranged yard used to be neglected for years. Taking the opportunity they expressed their delight to Taron Margaryan stressing that they had been waiting for having a playground for their children and a reacreation zone for a long time and today their dream has come true.
Within the frames of improvement program the kerbs have been completely changed, the walkways have been paved, benches, bowers have been placed, playgrounds for children have bee constructed.
As early as this spring, during his regular working visit to Malatia Sebastia district Mayor Taron Margaryan visited this yard. Hearing out to the proposals of the residents the Mayor instructed to include them in this year’s improvement program. So, this yard areas has been turned into a recreation zone being designed and equipped in accordance with the suggestions made by the residents.
The Mayor walked about the yard and together with the residents assessed the work done. Talking with the dwellers Taron Margaryan once again stresssed that the progrma of Yard improvement will be continuous and be implemented consistently in all administrative districts.

“Complex yard improvement provided for this year is coming to its end. The program will be continued and we have already included yard improvement activities in the programs of 2014. As we have promised to our residents we are going to improve about 400 yards annually and the process will go on till all the yards in Yerevan have become well-arranged and convenient”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
This day was also awaited in the yard at Ohanov 34 and 36. A recreation zone provided with nice bowers, benches, a football ground and external lighting has been handed to residents management. The improvement of the yards in Malatia Sebastia has been accomplished due to the financial means of the community and the private investments and this is another example of effective cooperation between the Municipality and the private sector.
"It’s very good that some yard areas of the capital are improved due to financial support of the private companies and individuals. Particularly, this yard has been well-aranged by joint efforts with the members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Atrhur Petrosyan. The staffs of the Municipality and the administrative distrcts are always ready to support any initiative directed at the improvement of Yerevan and I’d like to urge all those who would have a wish to come out with such an initiative not to waste time and take part in the issue improvement our beloved Yerevan:, stressed Taron Margaryan.
It’s noticeable, that in Malatia Sebastia district Mayor Taron Margaryan’s urge was responded with delight, and all the new yard areas put into operation have been mainly built instead of previously illegally occupied “kitchen gardes”.
"Taking the opportunity, I’d like to thank all the dwellers who willingly handed these areas either to the Municipaity or the individuals to carry out the process of well-arrangement”, said the Mayor.
The mini football and basketball ground constructed in the yard at Andraniki 64,66 amd 68 has already been serving its goal: at the moment of the Mayor’s visit the sport-loving children were playing basketball.
