The issues related to the process of the activities being implemented within the frame of the agreement signed between Yerevan and Stepanakert have been discussed

 Within the frames of the working visit made to the capital of the NKR the delegation headed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan had a meeting with the Mayor of Stepanakert Suren Grigoryan. Expressing gratitude for the visit Suren Grigoryan noted that the cooperation between Yerevan and Stepanakert which has been lasting for more than a year is really successful and productive.
"Yerevan and Stepanakert are developing a productive cooperation today, and I’d like to thank you and the whole staff of the Municipality of Yerevan on behalf of the residents of Stepanakert for the willingness and the efforts you show in the issue of strengthening and expansion of the effective cooperation between the two capitals", said Suren Grigoryan.
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan in his turn expressed gratitude for warm welcome and said that Stepanakert is not only a sister-city, but also a native hearth and this fact obliges to strengthen the cooperation between the two Armenian capitals.
"The expansion and strengthening of cooperation with Stepanakert has not only business but also moral significance for us. And we do our best to let Stepanekert have significant development in various spheres of urban economy management. The coordinated work of the working groups is really noticeable and you can be sure that all the priorities outlined in the agreement will get a program process and solutions. I also want to assure that the Municipality of Yerevan will go on supporting our partners in Stepanakert to improve the quality of management in all the spheres of urban economy", said Taron Margaryan.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues related to the further process of the activities carried out within the frame of the agreement signed in September, 2012 between Yerevan and Stepanakert with the aim of expansion of relationship and mutually beneficial cooperation
