Within the frames of Yerevan development programs provided for 2013 repairing activities have been finished in kindergartens, cultural centers, art schools and other educational establishments. This was reported during the regular working conference which was chaired by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
It was instructed to finish within determined schedule the improvement, hole and crack filling in the streets which are being carried out within the frames of improvement programs.
It was reported that street marking activities are going on in parallel. It was instructed to keep at permanent focus of attention jointly with the Road Police the activities of changing the damaged traffic lights and street marking.
Within the frames of the road construction programs, in accordance with the determined schedule, construction of the 2,6 meters length bypass motorway leading from Ulnetsi street to Rubinyants street, as well as the highway connecting Leningradyan street to Isakov avenue are going on. Mayor Taron Margaryan assigned the persons in charge to keep under permanent control the process and the quality of the work.
The head of the Department of Urban Development and Land Control reported that within the frames of prevention of illegal constructions and land occupations and elimination of their consequences 5 cases of violation had been revealed the previous week and the constructions had been demolished.
The Mayor instructed once again to set everyday control over illegal constructions and land occupation and elimination of their results. Taron Margaryan stressed that any illegal construction will be dismantled.
It was also instructed to set control over the new order of parking spaces functioning in the capital and in case of revealing illegal money collection take corresponding measures.
Regarding the restoration of damages balconies of the blocks of flats it was reported that the process of reconstruction is going on with the balconies required urgent restoration.
The head of the Department of Communal Services reported that the process cleaning up the streets, gardens, parks and yard areas from fallen leaves is still going on. Tight control is set to exclude cases of burning fallen leaves.
