 Within the frames of the round tables dedicated to the perspectives of bilateral cooperation development between Yerevan and St Petersburg they discussed the issues directed at business ties activation in the main directions of cooperation.
The head of the division of tourism of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Yerevan Maria Baraghamyan presented the possibilities for the development of tourism infrastructures in Yerevan and the work done in this sphere. The colleagues from St Petersburg sharing their experience presented the activities carried out by them.
During the meeting-discussion they outlined the importance of providing comfortable conditions for tourists, availability of cities, installation of “Safe city” program and information centers for tourists, as well as the issues related to hotel business development from the point of view of urban development.
The other working group discussed the issues related to expansion of investment environment in Yerevan and St Petersburg.
Particularly, they spoke about the realistic programs of investment attraction to the consumers market, including creation of new trading network.
Besides the representatives of St Petersburg city authorities some members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, representatives of private companies were present at the round tables.
