 On the occasion of the Day of Librarians the head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Yerevan Kamo Movsesyan awarded about ten workers of the sphere of librarianship with Mayor's diplomas for their contribution to the sphere and many years’ activity.
"You propagandize books so you play a big role in children's and youth's upbringing, in the issue of formation their outlook. Yerevan Mayor attaches great importance to your system thus he highly appreciates your work and an obvious evidence of this appreciation is the program of improvement of the conditions in libraries which is included in the annual programs of the Municipality, and the diplomas as a token of gratitude which are handed to you today on the behalf of the Mayor", said Kamo Movsesyan.
The workers of the sphere of librarianship thanked for appreciation and stressed that the attention directed at the sphere this year is noticeable with a number of achievements.
